Visiting Hours
Visitors are always welcome, and we will make every attempt to accomodate your
schedule. However, we're not 24/7 yet so if you just drop by at night or on the
weekend, you may find AHOP closed! We currently are committed to be open Monday through Thursday,
9 am through 5 pm. Also, we are doing 24 hours of prayer from Friday 4 am through Saturday 4 am, every
week -- so you can visit any time during that 24 hour period.
If you come by at other times, you may find the facility closed. You can also call or email us to
arrange a visit, we love to provide hospitality to visitors!
It's simple to get here. Take the MLK exit off of IH-35 and go east on MLK (you'll head away from the UT campus,
between the baseball stadium and the cemetery. Continue on MLK through the lights at Chicon, Chestnut, and
Cedar. You'll head down a long sloping hill towards some railroad tracks, but before you get to the tracks
take a left at Alexander St. (just after Flatbed Press ... if you cross the tracks or reach Airport Blvd. you've
gone too far). Go one block on Alexander, then take the first left at Real St. Take an immediate right into
the parking lot of the Seabrook Center, a low yellow brick warehouse with wooden deck in front. The AHOP prayer
room is inside ... if the loading dock door by the deck isn't open (which it usually is in business hours), then
try the entrance to the left of the loading dock.
